Privacy Policy

Overview

Montlor Inc. ("Montlor," "we," "us," or "our"), a company based in North Carolina, operates the website at montlor.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Site collects, how it is used and protected, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors located in the United States. A client portal is not yet available.

Information You Provide

The contact form collects your name, your email address, and the message you write. If you email us directly, we receive the information in that email. You do not have to provide this information, but we need it to respond to you.

The Summit Assistant

Summit is an AI chat assistant on the Site. Before you chat, Summit asks for your name and email address. The messages you send are processed by third-party AI model providers, reached through a model router (OpenRouter), solely to generate replies and a short internal summary of your inquiry for our team.

Once you have sent at least one message, the conversation is sent to us automatically when you leave or switch away from the page, so your inquiry is not lost. When a conversation or contact form arrives, our team receives an email with your details, the conversation, and the summary, and you receive a confirmation email with a copy of the conversation (not the summary).

Summit is not a secure channel. Please do not enter passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or health details. Your conversations are not used to serve you ads or build advertising profiles.

Who Receives Your Inquiry

The Site is built and operated for Montlor by Timatsu LLC, a related company in the same family of businesses, which receives inquiries on Montlor's behalf. Contact form submissions and Summit conversations are delivered to Timatsu LLC's inbox at hello@timatsu.com and stored in Timatsu LLC's central database, where they are available to our team to respond and follow up.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical information your browser sends to load a page, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, referring pages, and timestamps, along with error logs. We use it to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the Site. To prevent abuse, the Site also counts requests per IP address for the assistant and sign-in in Timatsu LLC's central database; those counters are deleted within two days. The Site does not use analytics, does not serve ads, and does not use advertising trackers.

Sign-In Area

A private area at /dashboard is limited to authorized Montlor team accounts. Signing in verifies an email address and password through Timatsu LLC's authentication service and, if successful, sets a signed, HttpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no public sign-up. If you do not have an account, this does not apply to you.

Cookies and Local Storage

The Site uses only functional cookies and browser storage: the session cookie described in Sign-In Area, and a local flag that remembers you have seen the cookie notice. The cookie notice is informational; the Site sets no optional cookies for you to accept or decline. The Site does not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and storage through your browser settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, help with your search, purchase, or sale, deliver services you request, and communicate with you. We use automatically collected information to operate, maintain, and protect the Site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Share Information

We share information only as described here: with Timatsu LLC, which builds and operates the Site and receives inquiries for us; with the other parties and professionals involved in a transaction you ask us to help with, as needed to complete it; with service providers that process data on our behalf, including our hosting provider, our database provider, our email delivery provider, and the AI model router and model providers that power Summit; when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and property of our clients, the public, and Montlor; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

How We Store and Protect Information

Information you send through the Site travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and is stored in managed systems with access controls. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

Inquiries and conversations are not deleted automatically. We keep them as long as we need them to respond, serve you, and maintain our business records, and we delete them when you ask, unless we must keep them for a legal reason. Per-IP abuse counters are deleted within two days.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of for those activities. To exercise a right, contact us using the details in Contact Us. We will verify your request and respond as applicable law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as our social media profiles. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
