Equal Housing Opportunity

Montlor is committed to the letter and the spirit of the federal Fair Housing Act and to equal opportunity in housing. We conduct our business in accordance with these laws and do not discriminate against any person because of a protected characteristic. Everyone who works with Montlor is entitled to the same professional service, information, and respect.

Protected Classes

Under the federal Fair Housing Act, it is unlawful to discriminate in the sale, rental, financing, or advertising of housing because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), familial status (families with children under 18, and people who are pregnant or securing custody of children), or disability.

State and local fair housing laws may protect additional characteristics, which can include age, marital status, ancestry, source of income, and military or veteran status, among others. Where a state or local law provides broader protection, that law applies. Montlor honors the full protection of every applicable federal, state, and local fair housing law.

Equal Professional Service

Montlor provides the same quality of service to every client and customer. We do not vary the terms, availability, marketing, or level of service based on a protected characteristic, and we do not steer anyone toward or away from a neighborhood, community, or property on that basis.

Reasonable Accommodations and Accessibility

We are committed to serving clients with disabilities. If you need a reasonable accommodation to work with us, or an accessible format for any of our materials, please let us know and we will do our best to assist. We also work to keep this website usable and accessible; if you encounter a barrier here, tell us so we can address it.

Reporting Discrimination

If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you have the right to file a complaint. You can contact the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) at 1-800-669-9777 (TTY 1-800-927-9275) or at hud.gov/fairhousing, or reach out to your state or local fair housing or civil rights agency. Complaints are generally free to file and are kept confidential to the extent the law allows.

Our Standard

Fair housing is not a formality to us. It is how we believe the work should be done. If you ever feel you have been treated unfairly by anyone at Montlor, please tell us directly so we can make it right.
